Never field dress or remove the breast of a bird that you would like have mounted.
When you pick up a bird always pick it up by the feet, and not the head, wings or body.
Pick up your birds that you want mounted; try not to let your hunting dogs handle them.
Do not twist the neck to kill a wounded bird.
Wipe off any blood spots on plumage.
Let you birds cool down before putting them on ice and freezing.
Do not soak your bird in water at any time.
If you are going to place them in a field bag place them head first into a cut off leg of panty hose.
Tuck head under a wing and place in plastic bag for freezing.
